New 60" LED Lights on Back of RV
Just a quick update on a mod we did to our Alliance 340RL. When we started carrying our mountain bikes, the factory brake lights were mostly hidden by the bikes.
To fix this we added vertical LED's to the side of the RV. These additional LED lights are 60" long and do a great job of increasing our break, turn, tail lights and even reverse lights!!

    If this company that makes these stainless steel skis really wants to nail it, they should cut them to size and put the screw holes in them. As most slides are pretty standard size. I should be able to tell them that I have a alliance paradigm. 340 RL and I need skis for the kitchen slide or the dining area slide or the bedroom slide and they should know the measurements and pre-fabricate everything and send me exactly what I need. Just saying it would make it a lot easier on the consumer as far as cutting tools and special drill bits. And it would not be much extra work for them at all. Maybe in the future. This could be a very lucrative business for them.

    Just a quick note regarding bluetooth operation. If a device is ALREADY paired with the receiver, then it won't accept another device -or- that is what I found out. Only ONE bluetooth device can be paired. So the first device that pairs with the bluetooth receiver blocks any other transmitter (phone/tablet). Still can use the remote, keypad, or actual key. It's a great product though and we love it. The other thing we love about this lock is the lock....very resistant to picking and I don't believe they make a master key for these, so keep your key safe. Oh....by the way love your channel.

    yeah, it's a PRESSURE pump. the pump should have been BEFORE the filters. I know that you want to filter the water going into the pump, but you need a different filter for that. these types of filters need PRESSURE to filter, doing it your way is incorrect.

    • @tannerjim
      @tannerjim 8 місяців тому

      My test is the same way it works when you use your RV water tank. There is no pressure behind that. the water is drawn up out of the tank via the pump. The same way I did this test. Imagine the glass jar is the RV water tank.

      @sNEAKYnIGHTMUPPET - Regardless of the location of the pump vs the water source, all three filtration systems were set up in identical fashion. The Camco system failed miserably in the "flow rate" test compared with the other two. The clear winner in all 3 tests Jim performed was the clearsource system. I've always had my suspicions about using Camco filters, as the reality is, my tap water at some resorts truly tasted awful, even after filtering. Now I know why. In my mind taste is king. If my filtered water tastes terrible, what else is my filter letting through?

    • @sNEAKYnIGHTmUPPET
      @sNEAKYnIGHTmUPPET 8 місяців тому

      @@leighsheppard8614 Agreed. I was pointing out that the pump and those filters were being tested incorrectly so that you could improve your testing. doing it incorrectly means people like me doubt the outcome due to inccert process. If your testing is without question, then the results are held in higher regard. That is to say that If I can't question your tests, then I equally can't question your results. I seriously hope you get my point. One final point. testing of things like leaking etc will not arise under negative pressure like in your setup. Leaking is a serious problem in cheap filters and your testing if done properly would have highlighted that potential problem also. Thanks for the reply.

      I looked at that, but decided that might be just a bit too low. Now I get to keep my original markers as well.

    Great video and well explained. I am thinking of putting this on a utility trailer; however, can I connect the controller to a jackery?

    Do I have to buy a new power cable as well or can I modify my existing cable by adding the new plug style?

      I thought about this, but in the end replacing it seemed like a better option, as I didn't want to be 100's of miles from home (and all my tools) and have it go out on me again.
